Springing Into Action!!



The air is getting warmer. Cool breezes are flowing through the windows of my home. The lighter days and warmer nights bring me energy. I feel a renewed sense of hope for the future. I am a summer baby so its like a rebirth for me with the spring and summer transitions begin. The Verdu sandal by L.A.M.B. embodies warm energy and a delicate sophistication that I feel flowing through me and I project outward during the summer time. It really should be that way all the time, but alas different seasons call for different types of swagga :)

At the risk of sounding like a flower child, I can feel the love in the air. The promises of new opportunities and prosperity are all around me. Things have not gone exactly as I have planned or even hoped, but I am not where I used to be and that is progress.

I have dreams of designing my own shoes one day. Though I am unsure of the process from beginning to end, in the infinite words of wisdom of my 6-year old daughter "I know what I like, and I know what I don't like." lol I guess that is all I really need to know. Success starts with a dream and a vision. So this season I chose to continue to hold fast to visions that invoke happiness and reflect the light that is within me.

I know some may read this blog and ask, " all this sentiment and emotional reflection is caused by shoes?" What can I say? Some people like to cook, some play video games, I like to write and find shoes that reflect my mood! :) We all have our gifts and I hope we choose to manifest them in ways that benefit all. ( just call me Guru Liburd lol) Serious, we all connect to the divine spirit in our own way, and when we cease to judge is when we truly manifest the divinity within us and share it with the world. So I am sharing my shoe induced feelings and my personal footwear fashion choices, hoping that someone out there benefits from it.

A few months ago, my dad called me and told me he had cancer. Never one to be lacking in articulation, at that moment I had nothing to say. He assured me everything was going to be fine. The Evolution Of...

The Mirriam-Webster Dictionary defines Evolution as "a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse to a higher, more complex, or better state : growth (2) : a process of gradual and relatively peaceful social, political, and economic advance"   We are ever-evolving, ever-changing beings. Life is a process and a journey. I am sure we have heard this before but to really grasp the concept of managing (as much as is in your control) your journey through life and always maintaining the attitude of gratitude is a HUGE.
