Be Not Afraid

 It can be very unnerving, stepping into new shoes., taking on new adventures...doing something you've never done before. It is liberating to move past your fear and be daring. I have always been pretty conservative on the outside and more of risk taker on the inside? But what does that really mean? If I don't take the risk, can I really call myself a risk taker?


Now as I grow into myself and I grow out of myself. The outside starts to reflect the inside until they are one in the same.

A few months ago, my dad called me and told me he had cancer. Never one to be lacking in articulation, at that moment I had nothing to say. He assured me everything was going to be fine. He has great doctors and they caught it early, all the things that you want to hear to give you hope, but does any of that make you feel better when you first get this life changing news? I tried to be a good daughter and not get too emotional on the phone. I asked a few probing questions about the plan of action for his treatment and his symptoms. The Evolution Of...

The Mirriam-Webster Dictionary defines Evolution as "a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse to a higher, more complex, or better state : growth (2) : a process of gradual and relatively peaceful social, political, and economic advance"   We are ever-evolving, ever-changing beings. Life is a process and a journey. I am sure we have heard this before but to really grasp the concept of managing (as much as is in your control) your journey through life and always maintaining the attitude of gratitude is a HUGE.
